Trouble With IE

Fri Jan 11, 2002 12:34 pm

I keep getting errors with IE. It then tells me it has to close down and wants to send an error report. This happens every few minutes. I am now forced to use Netscape which I do not like at all. The following is the error information I have been given by IE:

AppName: Iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2600.0
ModName: ezjaagent.dll
ModVer: 1.0.54.0
Offset:0001aefa

How do I fix this problem? It is driving me nuts!
Thanks!

I do not have any fixes for your exact error but you might not want to send a error report to Microsoft, these reports send a lot more info to Microsoft than you might want them to have. Please check out the links below.

the error reporting is the same in windows XP or Win 98

I just tried repairing IE thru the control panel Add/remove programs. I rebooted and all went fine...for a while. Then the same crap. It isn't as frequent now, but it is still there. How do I re-install IE w/o re-installing WINME? BTW, I have a Dell 4100 P3 933.

I always get that with Netscape It then tells me it has to close down and wants to send an error report.

I think it is because of flash plugins, JAVA not enabled, or too many windows opened.

I switched to IE and it works great. I don't know why it's happening to you in IE.

Yes!...that is exactly the message I am getting in IE. I hate Netscape and I want to use IE. I was going to download all the updates and patches for WINME and IE, but MS is telling me I need to use IE in order to download them. I'm in a catch 22 here.

Try enabling JAVA (in preferences) and close down unecessary windows.

You aren't getting those errors at airliners.net, are you?

Did you trying downloading a new version for IE? Try going to your Internet Options and turning each option on.
