More Rock-N-Roll On Reel To Reel

Sat Jan 26, 2002 12:29 am

Here's another tape that I started recently.

This, of course is only for those that are interested in good ol' rock-n-roll and of course listened to on reel to reel.

This is just side one. I haven't done side 2 yet.

Give me the critique, based on selection and sequence:

1. Journey "Don't Stop Believing"
2. Loverboy "The Kid Is Hot Tonight"
3. AC/DC "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"
4. Tom Petty "You Got Lucky"
5. The Cars "Just What I Needed"
6. REO Speedwagon "Don't Let Him Go"
7. Jefferson Starship "Stranger"
8. Rush "Limelight"
9. Pshychadelic Furs "The Ghost Inside"
10. Hall and Oates "Can't Go For That"
11. Badfinger "Baby Blue"
12. Loverboy "Turn Me Loose"
13. Men Without Hats "Hey Men"
14. Journey "Lovin' Touchin, Sqeezin'"
15. The Inmates "Dirty Water"
16. Foreigner "Feels Like The First Time"
17. Tom Petty "Here Comes My Girl"
18. Bob Seger "Her Strut"
19. Hall and Oates "Private Eyes"
20. K.C/Sunshine "Boogie Shoes"
21. Men Without Hats "Pop Goes The World"
22. A Flock Of seagulls "DNA"
23. Survivor "American Heartbeat"
24. Journey "Faithfully"

About Tom Petty:

I think "The Best of Everything" is a very underrated song

Southern Accents is my favorite Tom Petty album which has that song 'Best Of Everything'.
I really like 'Spike', Dogs On The Run, and ' Mary's New Car'.  Smokin cool
