Would Billy Idol's Cyber Punk CD be considered "punk" music. That CD totally rocks!! : Big thumbs up

Would the music from the 60's and 70's like Led Zepplin and Jimmy Hendricks be considered punk? If so, I nominate them as the best punk.

Blink182 are my favourite (particularly their earlier stuff) as they are what introduced punk to me.....

I think Blink 182 is more of a "pop ponk" judging by their string of recent hits. Yahoo.com puts them under "punk and hardcore", they also put Papa Roach in the same category. Mp3.com has more category choices.

favourite underground punk bands are at the moment RANDY, BOMBSHELL ROCKS (both from sweden) but i also like THE DWARVES, ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, BLINK 182 (which are totally mainstream...but really good!) and the mighty T U R B O N E G R O !!!
