FOX Broadcasting company is planning on canceling Futurama and Family Guy. While I'm not a big fan of Family Guy, Futurama has been great. Many of its fans and just regular watchers may have noticed that FOX regularly pre-empts episodes due to Sports or other events, sometimes keeping episodes months apart(not just new ones, all of them).

http://www.gotfuturama.com is asking people to write in to the FOX network and ask to keep the show(s) running. If you don't want to write, at least sign the petitions at http://www.petitiononline.com for the shows, although writing a letter and sending it snail mail will do more to help.

NO! I love Family Guy! Although the show never made sense it was still really funny. I just wish i started watching it earlier. Damn..

I feel the exact opposite, I didn't like futurama but I loved Family Guy!

I saw Futurama once and thought it was pretty stupid.

The Family Guy is by far one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Peter and his dumbass son are hilarious, so is the dog and the baby with the football-shaped head.

"Hey dad, there's a balloon machine in the bathroom!"

Futurama didn't start out funny in the beginning, however, the storylines have recently got more and more funny. Family Guy is just all around FUNNY AS HELL!!! I don't mind the show having a lot of sex-related topics and there are a ton of game show-related spoofs that are hilarious!

If FOX could keep all of its shows on a consistent schedule and not pre-empt the regular schedules for WEEKS at a time by sporting events, it could actually get some decent shows established. Futurama is pretty good, it gets better and better as time goes on. Family Guy is hilarious and is actually pretty intelligent if you pay a little attention to it, but some of the humor could easily turn people off.

I think FOX needs to work on getting a full programming schedule first, before they start cancelling shows.

Futurama sucks.. I'll miss Family Guy - that show's hilarious!

I'm a big fan of Family Guy and would hate to see it go. Futurama is rather good as well but nothing makes me laugh like Family Guy!

Family Guy is kind of bi-polar. I have seen one week and I didn't laugh once, and then the next week it was out of control.

So generally I watch it, but if it doesn't get funny, I change it.

But yeah, Fox has messed their stuff up. The futurama writers and stuff are pissed their show gets messed up due to football and things.

It's still on Comedy Central, but I never get to see it. Can't decide if my fav moment it the recurring Dudley Moore as Arthur cracks ot "Hee Haw - The Next Generation" with Star Trek TNG characters line dancing and Worf playing spoons.
Chuckling now just thinking about it!

Ugh, I'm disappointed with the cancellations of both the shows. Why couldn't it have been Temptation Island that got ditched?  

That just ended sometime last week IIRC. I just hope there ain't a Temptation 3.

I like both family guy and futurama and I signed that one and the one about invader zim. I'm really impressed that Johan likes both of them. Do you get invader Zim in other countries than the US?
