I was reading a magazine and they said the USA receives 9.2 Million barrels of oil a day on average.
That is amazing.
I assume the oil is put on the ships in the Middle East and the ships head for ports like Miami, NYC, LA, San Fran. and Seattle? That must be hundreds of ships per day.
After they get to those ports they ship them by truck I presume to other inland cities like Topeka, Denver, etc..
Does anyone know how many ships, trucks, and people it takes to move all of this oil? About how long does the oil take to get from say Tehran to Phoenix?
