Snatch

Sat Feb 23, 2002 2:19 pm

I just recently saw this movie, and am tempted to buy it on DVD.. are there two different versions of this movie? I saw it on a DVD bought from Suncoast, then I just rented it and it seems different, maybe it isnt. Anyway it was a great flik in my opinion.

One of the best movies ever. Worth buying even without any special features.  Smile Go for either version.

I can understand how folks from England find this movie offensive... Cousin Avi tells the truth, and the truth hurts huh? lol.  Big grin

Offensive? Why would we find it offensive? The film is British to begin with.
She's as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot.

Lets just say, Avi wouldnt be the person you wanted advertising for the tourism industry in England. Even though he tells the truth.

The best characters are

1)Turkish
2)Vinnie
3)Mickey
4) Sullivan (SOL)

And Silly fat bastard gets an honorable mention. He is great at parking cars, aint he?

This was actually the first film where Brad Pitt's acting impressed me. (Sleepers came close to the cigar, but didn't quite light it.)

Great flick.

(BTW my boss has a relative who owns a pig farm...I'm nervous.  Wink/being sarcastic )

The reason I was so impressed with Brad Pitt in this movie is because he did a great job talking in the Jippo language. That must have taken forever to film.. I would have been busting up laughing.

Damn, thought the topic was about something else.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
