So What Did Jeff Kent Really Do?

Fri Mar 22, 2002 2:12 am

What an idiot.

I think the most unbelieveable part of this story is that people actually believed the guy broke his wrist washing a car.

But it's looking more and more like the idiot was doing wheelies at 45 mph and crashed. Of course he's not allowed to do that since it's specifically forbidden in his contract. But washing your car? That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard. How the hell can a professional athlete break his wrist washing his car?

The guy makes $6 mil a year, if he needs to ride a motorcycle for his life to be complete, he should retire. There's a reason the team doesn't want him riding around - this is it. Even though he's a former MVP, hopefully the Giants will sack up and dock him some pay. It won't make much of a dent in his wallet, but it will prove a point.

Yeah, he didn't bust his wrist falling off his mini redneck monster mobile, he busted it, on this bike, acting like a jack-ass. Plain and simple. He won't deny it, but he isn't sacking up and admitting it either. It is a safe bet though, that he didn't break it giving Barry Bonds an over enthusastic high-5.

Donder10. Thats un understatement. One of my all time favorite things, is Barry Bonds hitting his 500th Home Run, a monumental feat, and the only person at home plate to congradulate him was the ball chick. It's a good thing he can ball, because would not make it in a customer relations type job.
