You guys remind me of when I was a teenage counter clerk at a drugstore in Dennisport, Massachusetts...
We could spot the rubber buyers a mile away. Nervous. Paced the store. Looked around a lot.
They usually waited until there was no one at the register and came up and tossed the box on the counter, not making eye contact, very quiet.
That's when I would ring it up, reach for the biggest friggin grocery bag we had, pull it out, open it up VERY LOUDLY so that everyone in the store would look and drop the little box in.
"Have a nice night sir"
