Track A FA You Liked In The Flight

Thu Mar 28, 2002 12:24 am

Hello all,

i know this is a weird request but it is very important for me.Today i got back from Boston on Virgin's Upper class. There was this flight attendant that i really liked and i think she liked me to,as we were talking a lot and having a lot of eye contact. The thing is i didn't tell her that i wanted to see her again before i disembarked the flight.I don't know her name but i what i know is that i really want to talk to her.She is from Bornemouth,UK and she is flying again on Tuesday to Miami. That's all i know.Someone help me track her!!

I cant really think of a way of finding her. Do you know anyone who works at Virgin? then maybe u can ask them for the flight crew details for that fight, it would help if u knew her name.

That's called 'stalking' not 'tracking.'
And it would be against company policy of any airline employee to release the information.

If she wanted to keep in touch...she would have given you a way to contact her.

LOL, how do you know she likes you?

Why don't you talked to her a little bit on-baord and ask her info secretly?

That would indeed be perceived as stalking as greg has said and giving out crew information to the general public is forbidden.

The only info I could suggest is giving her the option of contacting you if she is interested. I don't mind passing your info to a friend at virgin if you like, and he could pass the information to her to decide what she wishes to do with it. As long as it is up to her, then it isn't stalking. But I must say that the amount of time that FA's get hit on is amazing, so don't get your hopes out of hand

I will need to know your name, contact details, her flight info and her name. If you don't know her name, then I am not going to go to the trouble of finding it out for you

I hate to end the party, but their job is customer satisfaction and they're supposed to make you feel special.

Honestly, if I had a dollar for every time a passenger thought the flight attendant was giving him the "vibe", I'd be retired by now!

Some guy even wrote a flight attendant a two page poem, of which she appreciated, but promptly left in the gargabe bag on the hotel van.

Sometimes they get business cards, or questioned about which hotel they're staying at during the layover, the "googly eyes", or othe sorts of strange behavior.

The pretty ones get picked up on constantly. Sometimes politely, sometimes obnoxiously, but I think the best policy is to thank her for her excellent customer service and leave it at that.

Hey Folks, While I agree for the most part with Dougs comments, I met an FA on a flight that became my long term partner and remains that way to this day with hopefully many more to come, so it does happen and I don't see the harm in him passing his information to her, but I would be opposed to the other way around

THere are privacy laws to prevent stalking of crew members - especially attractive ones.

Just chalk this one to the recesses of your mental fantasy library, dude. Pretty FA smiled at you, you had a good flight, be happy.

I am not willing to help if you do not know her name. It puts me in a bad situation to have to track a crew manifest etc, and it also doesn't say much for your cause when you didn't even exchange names....

mind you, I have gotten myself in much more trouble than you without the exchange of names... Smile

sorry mate

Listen man,

she was working at the upper class. She was not the inflight supervisor so that does not leave many fa's left. only two were brunnete in the upper class cabin on VS 12 from Bos-Lhr. and the one i am talking about was definitely the youngest of all.23-25. She lives in Bornemouth.I am sure that your friend could help us somehow. Thanks

Oh, and Miami....is not an option..LOL!!

Isnt going to happen this time my friend. I am not going to contact a friend to go through this. First of all their are lots of VS employees, and the manifest unfortunately doesnt say that they are 23-25 blonde or brunnete etc.

I cannot go forward with this information. Miami is always an option despite what you say. If you are as sure as you feel you are, you can get that flight in economy for buttons at the moment, this should be no problem for you if you managed to afford Upper Class

Yeah - the US govt passed a new law stating no stalking of pretty FAs (pretty as decided by a bipartisan committee composed of Strom Thurmond and Ted Kennedy).

Ok, just take an option on the flight to Miami, she would be happy to see you on this flight and if she wanted to see you again... "Oh my dear, what a surprise to see you here"... "Yeah baby, I did it for you !"
Take your chance man ! If it works, lucky you, and you'll never forget it !
By the way, my fiancé is a FA... lucky me !

Good luck Dvintiadis !

Well...That's flight attendant job! Her responsibility is to make friends with passengers and make pax happy, make pax feel comfortable and listen and respect to pax. They tried hard to make passengers happy so that they hope that they want to make the airlines into number 1 (the best airline in the world)! Want more and more passengers to fly with their airlines in the future. That's their job!

Under Florida State Law, what you are doing is NOT consituted as stalking UNTIL she asks you to get lost, if she does and you don't then its stalking. But if i were you, id get myself down there and try something. Don't be rude, be nice and act charming, don't try any pick up lines or try to be clever, ask her for a drink strictly as friends and try and go from there, if it fails, bail immediatly! you don't want a problem.
Hope this helps.

While I am certainly not saying that this woman definately was attracted to him, why is it beyond the scope of all of you that it is possible ??

Many of us have flight attendants for girlfriends

Are you all suggesting that all FA's are teases, and live a life of celibacy ? get a grip

Give the wee guy a chance

How about we all collect some money so that Dvintitadis can get his ticket to go to Miami, meet the FA without a name again and marry her?

The wedding pictures will then be on A.net so everybody can enjoy them!

Why not hang out outside the entrance to the crewroom?
I give this guy credit for posting this here.
As I see it, it must be something from her to, cause he seems serious about it.
You don't get interested just because that someone smiled at you.
Then I would have alot of gilrfriends now, and THAT would my girlfriend not like. Big grin

Nah, leave her alone man.

There are a lot of crewmembers that don't wear name tags anymore because strange people are coming out of the woodwork with bizarre behavior.

If she truly want to meet you, a flight attendant knows that once the flight is over, that chances are she'd never see you again -- thus, she would have given you her telephone number if she were interested in something beyond a crewmember/client relationship.

You're really going to be disappointed if you finally track her down and she gives you the "blank stare" if she doesn't recognize you or understand why you tracked her down.

Besides, stalking is frightening and against the law.
