Best Super Hero?

Mon May 06, 2002 11:04 pm

The best super hero HAS to be Superman. No questions.

He:

-had superpowers (unlike that superhero "batman") and the superpowers were COOL! Laser vision, super breath, he could fly, and he was as hard as steel.

-He had one simple, nobel goal -- to fight evil.

-He's the only superhero that could pull off that outfit.

-He was suave, sophisticated, but also gentle and kind in the form of Clark Kent.

-He was discrete. Sometimes Clark would save a life or save the world without anyone being the wiser.

-The COOLEST name EVER. "Superman". Says it all.

-His superhero status wasn't bought *cough* batman *cough*

-He had a weakness that he had to defeat not using his superpowers.

-This shy, modest, mild-mannered person could save the world.

I challenge you to find a better superhero!

Superman =  Sleepy

It's not worth $9 to see the movie, but he's still a badass.

Honorable mention goes to:

Spiderman -- what superpowers did HE have?! Very few! All crap! Superman could just laser him with his eyes from 2 miles away.

That's the whole point. He didn't need all those superpowers. 100% Spider + man (does that add up?). How cool is that?

Laser eyes are the coward's way out.

Spiderman was a wimp. And he relied on his stupid web-cartidges in his wrists. A superhero can't be going down to the supermarket everytime he or she has to save the world! You don't like laser vision? Fine, let Spiderman cover Superman in a web -- he's only bust out of it and go get some bugspray.

It's not all about the fighting. What's inside counts, too. Superman has no character. He just has all these powers for no apparent reason. Spiderman is a chill guy, plus he doesn't take crap from anyone. Admit it, the Superman costume sucks.

When did he get that cheesy haircut? Looks like he tied a mop to his head.

If by cool you mean getting his ass blown up, I completely agree!

What surprised me is why Lex didn't make Kryptonite-tipped bullets. Ah well. He didn't.

So how would Spiderman defeat Superman then, McRing?

Stop arguing, we all know this man is the number one superhero anyway:

I'm serious, btw. Superman wasn't portrayed as stupid, but his only real advantage was his strength. Spiderman was better, relying more on his brain, but even he doesn't come close to MacGyver...

I don't know... with webs and stuff. Once I'm out of work I'll draw up a battle so I can figure out strategy and such. It will be a long fight, unless Spiderman can secure some kryptonite, which I hear is difficult.

MacGyver was cancled because they missed the obvious promotional tie-in with McDonald's.

The MacGyver -- 100& pure beef, only $1.99.

My choice for best superhero was Batman.

1. He worked his ass off to become who he was, and to gain the skills that he had.

2. He has no "superpowers", which makes him all the more cool, cause he used only human skills.

3. Sure, he has all those cool gadgets to help him out, but you gotta admit, those are pretty cool.

4. He's got his own problems, but he's got some character. There's someone behind the mask, with his own problems, inner conflicts, and troubled past. Makes him all the more human.

5. I know this isn't the superhero, but Gotham City is one of the coolest superhero settings. I love the dark, corrupt theme that it has. Who else can be "The Dark Knight"?

There ya go

Yea, Batman rocks. He doesn't need super powers. He just kicks ass as it is. He doesn't have all those great powers and still woops everyone. He is super smart and gets out of anything.

I saw Spidy this weekend. Pretty cool flick, worth the money.
