Doesn't really bother me. The only time it did was when my wife and I were in Japan, and were invited to a country club for dinner- staying overnight. Our hosts asked if we would like to join them in the public baths. We assumed it was, like, a swimming pool. Wrong!!
The Japanese public bath involves totally stripping off, sitting in a long line on a small stool in front of a shower, and soaping and washing yourself with a hand-held shower (NOT a good look), then bathing with half the population of Japan, naked, in a large pool, then repeating the washing process. Then having breakfast.
Several things - if you are unfamniliar with the customs, it means trying to follow the lead of your hosts by watching what they are doing, (in what must appear to everyone else to be peeking or perving).
The only consolation is that, by and large, the Japanese appeared to be , well, smaller in most respects (including height), which helped ease the embarrassment a little.
