Space Program Equivalent Of Airliners.net?

Sun May 19, 2002 1:26 pm

Anyone know any good forums for discussing the space program? In particular, technical aspects of shuttle launches, mission control, space probes, etc.?

As much as I like planes, space is my real obsession  Big thumbs up

If not a forum, does anyone know a specific website that details the space shuttle's launch and landing procedures? (Esp. from the mission control point of view!)

With all the security measures being (anxiously) implemented nowadays, I doubt you'll find anything near as open and technically informative on the space program like you do on A.Net. That information is now being kept from the public as the last thing NASA needs is a sabotaged mission.

NASA's site is so huge and complex, it's next to impossible to glean any useful information from it... Nuts
