I found this one at the NWS.

http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/mosaic/DS.p19r0/ar.us.conus.shtml

It's the best one I've found with a 5-10 minute delay. It has loop capability, and storm total loop.

Any others?

Not for flight planning, but it gives satellite pics, streaming, and you can get in just with a zip code.

Found another, if you subscribe, you can use this for flight planning, and get NOTAMs as well.

Sorry about the apparent duplication--I just saw the mosaic in the other URL, and just figured it was a overall view, versus a single-site view (the link I posted).

You might want also consider something else. Sometimes, I'll go over to Yahoo search and look for "Podunk Media" (substitute city of your choice for "Pudink") and then go to whatever TV stations are listed. Seems like every station these days has their own Doppler (with some hyped-up name) and the pictures always seem very timely.

http://www.intellicast.com

by far the best wx site I have ever been to. I dont know about outside of the US, but for the US, all you need is a location(City, ZIP code, Airport ID) and you get beautiful, fairly real-time wx.

Here are the best nexrad based radar sites on the net:

http://www.weathertap.com - The absolute best, hands down. Subscription, however. You get all the goodies, Radial Velocity, VAD, VIL, 4 base reflectivity tilts, etc, etc...You also get a storm timer and a storm table. These show the direction and speed at which an individual cell is moving. You can also get information on cloud bases, tops, POH (probability of hail), POSH (probability of severe hail), max hail size, and TVS (tornado vortex signature) MESO alerts. This is the only site I use while I am storm chasing.

http://www.wunderground.com/radar/map.asp - Decent, free radar, no bells and whistles.

http://www.accuweather.com - Decent, but the radar is only updated about every 10 minutes. The other sites I mentioned update anywhere between 2-3 minutes.
