Do You Know The Way To San José?

Sat Jun 01, 2002 6:38 am

Seems a poor 70 year old woman doesn't! Story is on the beeb website here:

She was connecting at EWR and got on the wrong plane, ending up in Costa Rica and not California! Thankfully, she arrived in the right San José three days later after 2 more flights and 2 hotel stays.

Who gets most blame: her or CO?

It could be CO, if they put San Jose CR it might be confused with San Jose CA. It could be her fault if she didn't match up the gate # on her boarding pass with the flight. TGUMAN

Our impenetrable security at it's best. After all, everyone knows that a passenger is accounted for every step of the way.  Laugh out loud

From the story it sounds as if her tickets were actually booked to Costa Rica. So this sounds like a mistake on the travel agents or Continentals part.
