Flight Simulator 2002 Installation Question.

Fri Jun 14, 2002 11:59 am

I hope I have posted this one in the correct forum; I purchased the FS2002 version today and installed the software, however when I tried to run the program the screen suddenly went black, I cant see anything, my pc fits all the minimum requirments for the software, ie. 3d card, memory etc.....anyone have any info on what could be going wrong?
Thanks, JMH

I think you are in the wrong forum!! But anyway I had the same problem with NASCAR Racing Series 2002 and I took the CD back to the store exchanged it, and the new one worked!! So it may just be the program!!
Thanks and Gig Em!

Quick, run, hide! You're in the wrong forum. Better try Aviation Hobby.

The reason why we care about the forum is, for me at least, because Non-Av is a place to get away from flying. Let's say you are a 757 pilot (or other aircraft). Civil Aviation is your job, flying the big jets. Aviation hobby is the Piper you take up on weekends. Site-related is airport/airline management. You don't often go to site related, but when you do it's usually to bitch or make a suggestion. Tech/ops is kind of like the mechanics, you stay away if you are smart. Non-av is the bar. It's the vacation. It's where you can hang out with your friends from Civil Aviation and not deal with "work". Aviation photography/photo requests really don't fit into this very well, any suggestions?
