I was just thinking, do you think that there could be some guy who has been on like, a spiritial journey in some mountains somewhere, or in some rainforest in south america or something who hasn't heard about what happened on September 11th?
I don't know why I thought this, but what the hell - what do you think?
Well, if you wanna say the amish, according the them NYC never even exists, and the WTC were never built, because that would require use of technology. And, you couldn't tell them it happened because why would there be airplanes in the sky? Your horse and buggy is just fine. It'd be like trying to tell us that Aliens hijacked the International Space Station.
Apart from the type of people LY772 described or the tribes living in somewhere like papua new guinea, then i think over 90% of the world's population would have heard of it, or anyone with access to the media or communications.
I highly doubt that 90% of the world would now where 11/09/2001 stands for. India alone has about a billion people, no offense but most of these people have other things on their minds, such as... What will we eat today?
Manni's 100% correct - to many Americans it matters, but to the vast majority of the rest of the world, who will probably never even own a TV and who are considerably more concerned about where their next meal comes from, it is meaningless.
Manni - SAS, the question wasn't does it have any significance or bearing on everyone's life, but just if they've heard about it. That was the question. It really doesn't need to have meaning nor priority for them to have been merely passed the information. 80% of the news I hear, I could give a rodent's gluteus-maximum about; but I hear it nonetheless.
