If They Made A Movie About Your Life...

Fri Jul 26, 2002 1:37 pm

...who would you want to play the part of "you"?

Would it be a comedy, drama, action or horror flick?

What would the title be?

If you're really creative, come up with a brief plot summary.

I'm going to have to ponder this one before I come up with some answers...

 Confused

Patrick Bateman is my hero.

Keifer Sutherland would play me (people tell me I look like his father, Donald but I don't see it)
It would be a drama/comedy/pseudo-porno with an NC-17 rating.
The title would be "Next"
The focus would be on my personal relationships with family/friends/lovers. It would be a miniseries on TV, shown over 3 or 4 nights. It would focus on the three most important phases of my life: pre-sexual/sexual awakening/sexual maturity. Ages 6-10, 15-22, 30-present (37 now). As a child I knew I was different from other boys. During my sexual awakening phase I vacillated between men and women. And when I finally accepted my sexuality (gay) it would focus less on sex, more on the person I have become because of it. I have "converted" many people in my life...not to homosexuality but to an educated, informed knowledge of the differences in us all. Most of my friends now are former homophobes who love me for who I am and accept me for what I am. I've accomplished something extremely important in a small way and I could die happy tomorrow.  Smile Peace

The guy who played Stiffler in American Pie would play me as my old girlfriend and other female friends say I resemble him. I could see it being a dramatic Comedy mix. I would have the movie entitled "To the limit" The plot would go like this... starts out about 2 months ago just as the college school term comes to an end for summer. High expectations with girlfriend come to an end. To keep my mind off of her and move on I decide to travel every week for as many weeks as possible. During a 6 week stand by traveling to cities such as New York, Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington D.C. Chicago, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Los Angeles, Many unusuall comical situations are encountered during the weeks of travel that leave me dazed and confused as to what the hell just happend. During all the laughs on the road and with friends back home there is still a bit of a sad side mixed in as the old girlfriend is going to be visiting Arizona (where I live) shortly. With full confidence of getting over this girl things take a surprizing turn and we hook up before I leave for Hong Kong. After my return we hook up again before she leaves to go back to New Hampshire. After all of the weeks on the road trying to not focus on the situation of a girl I really cared for, I then realize things have changed and what I once thought was unique now means nothing to me and I feel its time to leave it behind. That leaves off on current day. So what do you think, could this scenario be turned into a movie?!? hahaha we will see!

Cheers!

James Garner would be me.
It wouldn't be comedy, and the title would be "why me?"

It would be a dramatic comedy. Some of the people I've met in my lifetime would surely crack people up. The perverted Persian plastic surgeon, the freak who was obsessed with sex and had a brother who was a sportscaster, the guy I went out with who was in the hairclub, the guy I loved to death and broke my heart, the student of my flight instructor who calls me 1000 times a day. This list goes on. I was once told my life is like a "Soap Opera on Acid." I think that would be a good title for the movie.
