Many people feel that the war on terrorism is not what it should be because it's not making major headlines every night. During the Gulf War, there were updates of battles, victories, casualties every night. And since the US and our allies were so decisive in the Guf War, not hearing about victories is a disappointment. Don't forget people, we are fighting an enemy that hides. I for one think it's working. Maybe not remarkably, but working.
I agree with your overall statement, but saying 3,000+ people deserved getting murdered for something they had no decision making on whatsoever is a bit harsh. Otherwise, like I said, I agree. Bush including Iran in the "Axis of evil" was shooting himself in the foot. Iran turning over Al-Queda members, allowing the U.S. to use thier territory in the event of a military emergency, even expressing simpathies for 9/11: that sure doesn't sound like actions of an "evil axis".
