What Is Your Job?

Mon Aug 19, 2002 10:56 pm

Well, I thought this would be an interesting topic because we all talk to each other, and it'd be nice to know what everyone does....

Well, I recently got hired at Wegman's, I am a cashier (boy oh boy!) now I am rolling in the dough! haha! not!

So go on and post your job!

"On the weekends, I work as a weather observer at the Greater Buffalo International Airport."

I used to be an observer at YHM, KROC. Used to observe all of the nasty weather move on down the road to BUF and blow it's load.

Are you out of that building close to the Flying Tigers restaurant?

I corral a bunch of underpaid and mentally challenged indiviuals into building freight and loading airplanes for KE in PDX and then deal with the consequences. Cargo traffic or cargo ops whatever you call it...freight comes in, we beat on the freight for awhile and then send it out. Great fun...

Now i realize that it isn't a c-141 cause only the navy fly those and they are gray. This looks too small for a b-52 but too big for a c-5 galaxy.

Im not as good at identifying Military planes as i am with biz jets.

Flyingbronco. As a former Air Force member, don't ever mix up Navy planes with those of the Air Force.  Big grin

Secondly, it does not take a genius to realize that ...

A.) The plane in the picture is a monster. Hell, just look at the front landing gear.

B.) Second, my man's user name is Galaxy5. Hmmmmm. C-5 Galaxy... Putting two and two together..........

As of June 1st I started a new job as a Graphic Designer. Wow...it sure is great!

I have worked on computers for a long long time and always wanted to get into doing graphics. We put your custom logo on pens, keychains, pencils, clocks etc.

The company is the largest pen supplier in North America...and the best thing of all is that the owner is an old airplane buff....so 90% of the pens are named after aircraft...

If you care to you can check out the web site at...
