I'm learning this beauty:

The Hammond B3 Tonewheel Organ

And I sing as well (I've taken voice lessons for several years)...

I can be the band's lead Kazooist.

Or, if you prefer, I can play the baritone/euphonium that I'm actually good at...

Some would argue it was the best electromechanical organ ever made (I would!) As long as you maintain it well (oil the generator and scanner), it will serve you well for many years--it is a surpisingly low-maintenance piece of machinery. I'm still using my teacher's 1956 B3, though, but I'm trying to buy one of those 400-pound behemoths for my home (best $3500 one can spend!)

I'm all over the lead trumpet part. I just squeezed out a dubba C yesterday (yes, it was louder than one decibal). Oh yeah, I just got a new trumpet:

One more thing, I sing bass 2 parts (actually I can venture through contrabass, if it even existed  Acting devilish).

Well, put me on any brass instrument, but I'm best at tuba.

(This is the exact kind I play)

I can also play trumpet, bass trombone, French horn, and mellophone, to a much lesser extent.

I played the trumpet, tuba, trombone, HOWEVER I excelled at and was my primary instrument, the FRENCH HORN...

so we can add that to our Ensemble

That's the same one I had ...a Conn Rose Brass (incredible sounding)... and it cost more than my car  Smile/happy/getting dizzy but I got rid of it when I stopped playing.

And I thought I was the last to be interested in Organ playing !
same for me, but my practicing is done on a Yamaha PSR550. Very good quality for the price I paid (about 830 euros ). However, I'm not planning in buying the real thing any soon. You cannot maintain two expensive hobbies (i.e. flying and organ playing), so I stick to my good ole Yamaha, but I can practice on a better one in the chapel I'm going on Sundays.

I do sing as well - in two choirs, but classical only. (although if I lower my car window when I drive, you may hear a lot of different music styles  Wink/being sarcastic )

Alright, well it seems like we've got a Tower of Power tribute band forming or something like that.

So, here's the starting lineup, tell me if things should be different:
Lead Vocalist: Victech, 707cmf (switching off the organ)
Co-Lead vocalists: SSTjumbo, Shawn_Patrick

Horn Section:
Brass: SSTjumbo, Kcle, Omegous, Hurricane
Woodwind: FlyCMH, Shawn_Patrick

Rythm Section:
Drums: DASA
Bongos/Congas: USA_boeing (assuming you're proficient at quads)
Percussion: Lortab 7.5mg
Guitar: N751PR
Bass: Lubcha132
Organ: Victech, 707cmf (on Victech's organ)

Band Manager: Johan Lundgren (if he has managing skills...  Acting devilish)

Well, that's what we got so far, any additional support would be welcome
I don't know, so this is my signature.

I don't really know, I play on an old Vito, which still plays pretty nicely. However, a few of my friends have Yamahas, definitely a quality instrument. Hopefully I'll be able to scrounge up enough money to get one sometime soon. I'll look into the Selmers though.

I'm not that skilled but if it's something simple I think I can manage it  Smile
I prefer an electric (w/ distortion it's hard to understand I'm so unskilled  Wink/being sarcastic )

Hi lubcha!

Is not usual to play with two basses in the same band, but I can play in song where a fretless is required!

I play this one:

But in fretless version.
Miquel.

I can join with my aqoustic, but wait a month or so, and I'll show up with my new Bass.  Big thumbs up

My cousin plays the El-guitar, and I know a girl who plays drums, a girl who sings, and a guy who knows his way around a synth...hmmmm, maybe we should form a band?  Smile

I play electric organ to a high standard - I even had one of my compositions published by Yamaha.

I am currently learning guitar, but am nowhere near proficient enough yet to be in a band.

What? No oboe? How ironic.

Damn, WE need a FEMALE flute player, no offense. I'd better ask the flute section leader at James Madison University to come play with us. She is VERY good at it. #2 in the state of VA at the flute. She played the flute at my high school so that's how I got to know her.

Anyway, I'll join ya guys in trumpet, we will have a power trumpet section, so that's why I'm in with ya guys. How about the piccolo trumpet, hehehe.

TRumpet it is.
