Montoya On BMW-Williams Breaks F1 Speed Record

Montoya broke the lap speed record of the F1 yesterday, driving his BMW-Williams with an average speed of 259.827 km/h around the high-speed circuit of Monza.

I remember seeing Keke Rosberg's record lap at Silverstone inthe Williams Honda.(1985?).Cool thing was he did it on slick tyres just as it started to rain,with a slowly deflating rear tyre.No traction control in those days remember.just 1000+ hp with the boost turned up!

7th pole position for Montoya and no points at these races, seem like a curse.
Ralf sure fried his engine, amazing that his brother "Red Baron" have finnished all races this year...

When was the last season that a team was consistently impressive in the qualifyings, but yet consistently failing to deliver the goods during the race?
