It sounds like Brother Jed is not paying attention to the words of Christ
in Matt. 7:1 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
He seems to also missing the real message of 1 Corinthians 6; I'm paying close attention to verse 11, but I'm starting at verse 9, so you know how many like this Brother Jed take some things out of context
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
12"Everything is permissible for me"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"--but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"--but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
The message used to convert should be that of John 3:16, a message of love. Of course people should be aware that they are sinners (Romans 3:23), this would probably require some mention of sin for some people, but not in judgement, just in informative and loving manner. They should know the reality of hell and God's final judgement, but it is not our place to judge, let them decide. They should know Romans 6:23. Then they should know the truth to be set free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2). God loves, he accepts us as we are, and he has already taken the punishment for our sins, our job as christians is to make people aware of the Goodness of God, his willingness to save even the most hardened sinner. The only good is God, so we should not act as if we are any better.
