The Fertile Women Of The Weather Channel

Thu Sep 26, 2002 1:41 am

Is it just me, or is there at all times at least one obviously pregnant weathercaster on The Weather Channel? What gives? I mean ALWAYS! It's distracting when they turn sideways to show the map and North America disappears behind maternity wear. Has anyone else been tempted to send birth control brochures or devices to TWC headquarters? Just me? OK.

I don't know, it's just getting creepy in my opinion.

(In Homer Simpson voice) It's funny 'cause it's true.
Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind being the one to knock up Kristina Abernathy! It would be the best 10 seconds of her life! (did I say that out loud?)  Big grin

You're not kidding. However, that's not nearly as interesting as seeing a pregnant military member wearing camo! After all, the USAF refers to their cammy's as "battle dress uniforms" or "BDU's".

Learpilot,

I hear ya with Kristina Abernathy!!  Wow! I saw her first! She's mine!! LOL

Bill Cosby had an interesting theory about this subject. He joked that John Hope was the cause of the population boom at TWC. I'm sure Abernathy's time is soon. I think I saw a ring on her finger recently. (I'm hoping that was just persperation!)

I though that joke about John Hope (R.I.P.) was classic!

Cheryl Lemke, I think, is robot like. No personality. At least she's got a different hairdo now. Now Kristen Dodd is one that I've been wondering about weight wise. She has dropped a ton of weight recently.

Learpilot,

Just goes to show ya we got good taste in women. Oh well, now that Kristina is out of the picture, now I can concentrate on Heidi Klum!! Woo Hoo!!

Oh wait, she's also mar..........

AARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL... This is the first time I've ever seen someone besides my dad say that TWC has a fertility issue! I told him, "No, Dad, you're not alone... there is someone else in the world watching TWC enough to notice it!"

I don't have cable so I'll have to take your word for it.

So true! Great topic. Some, I've seen multiple pregnancies over the years. -- I've always wondered about TWC putting out a "chicks of the weather channel" calandar type thing...It would sell like the proverbial hotcakes. BTW, whatever happened to Jodi? Haven't seen her in years. Made TWC worth taping.  Smile

I've tried to make a list of pregnancies, but I've honestly lost track! Although Sharon Resultan has to win some kind of prize, I think she's had 3 in 4 years!

Mrs. Abernathy has had that ring since before 1997 the first and last time I saw her on the Weather channel, so sorry Learpilot, I saw her first.  Big thumbs up

Yep, there's always at least 1 pregnant woman on TWC. Why, I have no idea... I noticed Sharon Resultan, too- she's pregnant year-round!!

Speaking of CNN, Jill Brown's back at TWC after some time @ CNN!

It should be noted that Jill Brown is currently VERY pregnant. Her belly button even is popped out like one of those things on a turkey that tells you when it's done. I guess she's done! She actually "inspired" this whole thread.

Actually, 4holer, a woman's belly button is not affected by pregnancy. A person is either an "innie" or an "outie" from the time the umbilical cord falls off, and not even pregnancy can turn an innie to an outie. However, cosmetic surgery could, if one was that vain...

You guys remember Jodie Sailand? Where is John Hope anyway? I only see Dr. Steve Lyons (no personality) these days.

Where is the late John Hope? Uh...dead? Buried. "He is no more! He has ceased to be. He is an ex-person." - Monty Python (kind of)

(Note the use of R.I.P. above)
Although, with such a major hurricane lurking in the Gulf, it saddens me. He "should" be giving us all of the info on it as only he could.

BTW, I will respectfully disagree that a woman cannot temporarily become an outie during pregnancy. I've checked with a few mothers and I gotta go with what they said. And nobody noticed that I managed a 1 word reply before with no filler. Bummer for me!

Hey, if I had Sharon Resultan at home, I'd be doing my best to see that she stayed pregnant. The best Weather Channel babe was Kam Karman...she left several years ago...but what a babe.
