I'd love to see a rematch of last year. But Yup! Yankees are probably going to take it this year.

You can't beat the last world series game last year though. I dont think I'll ever see any game that can even come close to competing with that. That was awesome.

Well, my picks are looking pretty good.

Oakland gets home field for game five. Cards are sitting pretty. Angels are playing scrappy and not giving in to Goliath and my Braves should be able to take at least one in San Fran to bring a potential game five back to Atlanta.

Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees lose! Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees lose!

< /Annoying Michael Kay Voice >

God, what an absolutely wonderful day in the world of baseball. My Braves won, taking a 2-1 series edge over San Fran, the Twinkies won to force a game 5 with Oakland, the evil Diamondbacks and their silly looking 6'10" freakazoid pitcher got swept right out of the LDS, and -- perhaps most satisfying of all -- Georgie Porgie's team got eliminated from the playoffs, by being absolutely killed by the Angels in 3 straight games.

Oh what a day!!

I can't tell you how great it feels to visit the Yankee board on Fanhome and see the thousands of jumpers dangling off the edge of Bandwagon Bridge!

Interestingly enough, at least two of the teams in the next round of postseason play (The Halos and Twins/A's) will be in the bottom 1/3 of payroll in all of baseball. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Heir Selig!

I think that the Giants will go all the way! It would be neat to see another Bay Area series again with the Giants and the A's

That won't be happening. Although there's still a chance of an all California World Series, and it looks right now like the Giants are on their way.
