World Series/ Champions?

Mon Oct 07, 2002 11:09 am

Could someone define for me how the games of baseball and American football have world champions when they are only played by teams in the US. Does that mean then that the Aussies are world champions of their football too?

Yet again...As I stated in the last thread...The world series comes from the Newspaper that originally sponsored the contest...the newspaper was "The World"...

And I'd like to note that there are two teams in Canada and a rumored team in San Juan, PR.
