Well I actually got myself up at 3:45 and went to an open plain here in central Florida. To my surprise, there must have been one or two thousand people there at 4:15am. It was absolutely clear out. We saw so many, it was amazing. The peak was at 5:30 just like the report predicted, we saw up to 5 at a few given moments. The larger ones tended to be in the western sky. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the fact it was 35 degrees out. I froze my arse off, I thought this was Florida
Sorry about the original post, I didn't realize most of the world was gonna be able to see it, I misread an earlier report saying that N. America hasn't received a show like this in awhile.
Sometimes I go about in pity for myself and all the while a great wind carries me across the sky.
