Saintsman, Where did you hear this joke?
A few weeks after 11 Sept last year, a friend of mine noticed a man dropping his wallet, and she picked it up and gave it to him. As a thanks, he said, "Stay out of London this weekend" She told this to the police, and she identified the man she met as one of the connections to the terrorist network.
I thought this was true, but now that I hear a version of the story as a joke, I don't know what to believe anymore.
PS! I posted the above in a thread here after that particular incident occured, but as it was right after Sept 11th, it ended up getting deleted, and I was close to being banned. I just want to avoid the same happening now, and make it clear that I am only telling you what I heared, and can not guarentee that my friend who told me this is telling the truth. (She is not the type of person who would joke about this though). The last thing I want is to get in trouble over something like this. I just reacted to hearing the same story as a joke, that's all.
