Although Oasis is my favourite band, some albums that have been on my playlist lately are:

Blur - Modern Life is Rubbish
an absolutely fantastic pop album. It has the lush guitars of suede with the pop sensibility that is blur.

Richard Ashcroft - Human conditions
it took a little while, but after about 5 listens i'm really getting into it. after being a heavy fan of the verve, his solo stuff is certainly different, but that doesn't mean that it is without charm.

Suede - Sci-fi Lullabies
in the same vein as their albums, the b-sides of suede are a little odd at first, but they end up growing on you. Sometimes the trite lyrics of Brett Anderson are just what you need to get your mood picked up. Great double disc compilation.

live forever and stay beautiful,

777YYC - I don't have Operation Mindcrime, as I bought the live version instead. however, I downloaded it and they are virtually the same. I'd say its the best concept album I have ever heard, each song is as good as the next!! And if you haven't already heard it, download the demo song 'The thin line', which was re-mastered in 'Empire' but the original had different lyrics. good stuff. If you buy Operation:livecrime I'll try and send you mindcrime as I have it on my HDD as an mp3 (Do you have WinMX?).

hehe  Smile.

-Santana- Supernatural (I'm listening to Shaman for the first time right now- pretty good, too)
-Various Artists- The Best of Bond, James Bond
(Has all theme songs but The World Is Not Enough & Die Another Day. Includes Louis Amrstrong's "We Have All The Time In The World" from OHMSS.)

MTV 2 Handpicked Vol. 1- Various artists
Moby- Play
Moby-18
Paul Oakenfold- Bunkka

I am probably going to buy some Coldplay and Robbie Williams soon after seeing them on the MTV Europe Music Awards, I'd heard of them in the past. I'm sure as most of you know, Coldplay's "Yellow" made it big in the States, but I heard some of their new stuff lately and they sound pretty good. I also want to get Robbie Williams' new album when it comes out. I also may buy a Tiesto album soon.

A bit old, but a revolution when it came out in 1995

Global Underground 1-20
I haven't had the cash lately to get 21-23, but I'll get them ASAP

Underworld Live - Everything, Everything
I love the DVD version, so the CD goes with me when I've got my boomblaster with me.

Co 757-300, nice to know there's another Bad Religion fan out here.
I love the music, and the lyrics are great too. Graffin is a great poet imho. However, it did take me quite some time figuring out what exactly some of his lyrics were about, they aren't the most easy ones (english is not my first language). And live, these guys are great too!

About live concerts, EGGD, that reminds me, one of the most amazing shows I ever saw was a Pride & Glory (Zakk Wylde's band before BLS) show at the Dynamo Open Air fest several years back. Every song they played turned into a big improvisation, and damn, that Zakk Wylde can play!
