I looked up information on Kay Parker doing a Google search.
Parker is well-known because the time she was doing adult movies was right at the period that adult movie filmmakers were making their only attempt at trying to "mainstream" adult movies. The 1977-1986 era was the days when adult movie producers were doing increasingly lavish productions, often doing film shoots around the world.
Given the enormous financial success of the first three Taboo
films it's small wonder why Parker stopped making adult movies in 1986; mind you, she left right at the time when AIDS was become a major issue and she didn't want to end up being HIV positive (as it happened to a number adult film stars later).
Parker has written an autobiography and I'm really tempted to buy that book.
