For anyone who has been following the cricket lately, you will know that the Poms have been absolutely humiliated down here in their tour (they have yet to win a game out of how many double digit starts...haha).
But it seems an Irishman has stepped into the fray to defend the Poms (who would have imagined that. George Best, the man who is single handedly responsible for keeping Guinness in business, has come out and declared "I hate Aussies"
Read the report first, then continue on.
From the report:
"What is it with Australians?" he raged yesterday. "I've never known a country to gloat so much over winning a sporting event.

Yeah George, the problem here is, I don't think you could remember the last time the Poms beat the Aussies. So of course, your comment makes perfect sense.
And then there is this pearler...
Serially linked to a succession of glamorous women, including a string of beauty contest entrants, Best also lashed the Australian physical stereotype, claiming most Australians – both males and females – were unattractive.
"They should take a look in the mirror. On second thoughts, best not," he said. "Let's face it, apart from a few notable exceptions, most of the women are built like shot-putters and the men are verging on Neanderthal.
I wonder if George has looked at himself in the mirror lately? George, baby, let me tell you, its not your good looks which draws the women to you. $$$$ says it all.
But I think I will let Gibbo continue for me, in his comeback to George's outbursts:
Is it just me, or can others see this turning nasty?
