AIM Html Codes

Mon Dec 16, 2002 12:28 pm

does anyone know the HTML or whatever it is code for AIM that enable someone to send a message to someone by a link? also, there is a way to program what the message says, like you make it IM me and say "what's up?"

if you have the most recent version of AIM downloaded it's real easy.

Just click on "link" in your message window (on the part that separates what you type from what the other person types -- in the middle, where you change the fonts, and all).

you can then paste in your URL on the top line and type in your message in the second line.

hope that makes sense -- once you click on link, it should be easy.

[a href="aim:goim?screenname=JoeBob&message=Hey"]Message Me[/a]

Replace the [ ] with the less & greater than signs.
