我也是在学习汉语。(I'm also learning Chinese).

Saya belajar bahasa Indonesia. (I'm learning Indonesian).

I'd also like to learn other languages, but don't have enough time at the moment.

I'm currently in Spanish level 2 and hating it because my teacher (which is not even a teacher) is a b*tch and doesn't teach at all and gives tests everyday on something we didn't even learn.

I took three years of Spanish, but stopped two years ago...of course, in one of the bigger ironies in my life, I ended up spending 3 weeks in Costa Rica this past summer, with Spanish class being two years removed...I'll fess up that it would have helped a little bit there...

lol even as an American high school senior, I'm taking both German and French...by choice.  Smile (Which is why I'm not on the boards often anymore!) Most seniors drop their language after junior year, but I just added another one!

I am in my third year of Spanish at school right now. I've found it to be really easy to learn up to this point. I will probably be starting Russian lessons after Christmas.

I took two semesters of French but didnt learn anything. Some words did stick. But i mixed spanish and french together all time. And the teacher was like, thats spanish not french. She would get anal about that! I always hated it when test time came around. never did good on those.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I think i will just stick to english and spanish, i think its enough speaking two languages. But i am thinking of taking some courses in Italian, Too bad my school doesnt offer it. They only offer spanish, french, german, and russian.

Currently taking Spanish at my High School- it's really easy for me. I'd love to pick up French or German in the future, I'd love to be tri-lingual!

Hello!

French is my mother tongue and I am fluent in English. I am also pretty good in German. I have also learned the basics of Czech (very difficult) because I often go to Czech republic (Prague). Now I am learning Italian as well. I simply love languages. I think it is great when you may be able to exchange a few words when visiting a country.

Good luck in learning your languages

I've been learning Hebrew for a long time, many years, but can't really speak that well.

Spanish for about 4 years, pretty fluent now.

I started French this year- j'aime le frances, but I do the same as somone else said, always mix spanish and french, but my teacher doesn't mind, because she lived in Barcelona.

And of course, English.

I like languages too, I hope to keep up spanish and french, but I don't know how useful hebrew will be in the future.

English is my native language, but I'm learning French at school and I'm quite obviously the best French student in the class (my peers admit it!). My teacher (actually a French guy, French his first language) commented dramatically on my "excellent pronunciation". Well, the class moves way too slow for me, so after French 1 and 2, I think I'm going to jump to French 4 and then take German 1 during my senior year. Fun fun. I love French so much. Oh yeah, the girls like guys who can speak French! Word to the wise...  Big thumbs up

Oh yeah, I learn Japanese at home when I have the time and the materials. I'm absolutely fascinated with Japanese and how it really is quite easy to learn. Wait a minute... forgot about all the politeness levels. Oh well, it's still great and I like Japanese girls!

Do you think it's crazy to be learning two foreign languages at once? I know some of you are doing that, what do you think about it?

I've studied English, Hindi, Marathi, French and German formally at various stages through my education. I also speak enough to communicate badly in 2-3 more languages, plus a smattering of phrases (mainly tourist, greetings and abuse) in about 15-20 others.

English is my native tongue, but I am in love with language-learning. I started taking Latin in middle school, and was good enough to skip levels, I'm now the youngest student in the AP Latin class. Latin led to other languages, and now I'm fairly far along studying German on my own. For a school project last year, I learned some Sanskrit (more for the linguistic interest than for usefulness), and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully, in another year or so I will start tkaing Spanish, either at school or on my own. It takes time to learn multiple languages, but it is very much worth it.

I'm in my 4th year of German and my 1st year of French. Unfortunately, I take French immediately after German at school. Since I was a year behind in French (we start languages (well, the language we pick) our last year of Middle School), it took 2 or 3 weeks to finally get adjusted. Once I caught up, I'm doing pretty well in both.  Smile It just takes some time to balance things out.
