Pink-Floyd Tour 2003?

Fri Jan 17, 2003 5:23 am

Today a friend of mine told me rumor has it that Pink Floyd are going on tour again. I searched the net and found ticketselling sites that advertised it as well but without any dates which, according to them, are yet to be announced.

Now if this is true I know that one particular evening this year I will die and go to heaven about 27.5 times.

But I wonder how this is possible? AFAIK, they officially disbanded and sold the rights of the name Pink-Floyd to Roger Waters (who just did a solo tour last year).

Any one knows anything? Any information is appreciated.

thanx

I would be suprised if they were to tour as I'm sure it would be leaked to the press & we would all know about it by now.
I have read on Roger Waters' web site that there is a Pink Floyd DVD coming out within the next 2 months - Live at Pompeii (directors edition). I have 2 laserdiscs of this concert and i.m.h.o I think its the best Pink Floyd concert to date on film. The Careful With That Axe Eugene version on it is absolutely awesome.

That would be great! But I wonder if they have managed to clean up the soundtrack. I own a CD of the soundtrack, the video, and the LP, and the sound was terrible on all of them.

That would be great if they did. I saw them in 1994 at the Rose Bowl on the Division Bell Tour.

Great show!  Smokin cool
