Setting The Default Web Browser

Sat Jan 18, 2003 6:33 pm

Someone in my family has been playing around with my computer and changed the default web browser setting so that Netscape has become the default browser which really pisses me off. Everytime I open something using MSN or other programs, Netscape is opened instead Explorer. I have tried deinstalling Netscape but it still doesnt fix the problem.

Does anyone know how to change the default web browser setting on my computer??? (Win XP pro)

Thanks in advance

Try going to Tools, Internet Options, Click the Programs tab and make sure "Internet Explorer should check to see it it's the default browser" is checked.

Hope that works.
