If you make it down to TOL - there really isn't much left to do in the winter. The Museum of Art in the Old West End is open daily for free (would highly recommend it), the Zoo is open - admission is half off, and of course the various restaurants around town...TOL has the highest number of restaurants per capita out of all major cities (IOW - no one here cooks). If you like hockey...Toledo Storm downtown is always a good game - just watch out for the flying squid.
I will echo the remarks above...try the casinos in Windows and Detroit (MGM is the one I usually frequent). This area is really closed down til spring when all the outdoor attractions open back up (the Islands, Mud Hens, Cedar Point, etc.).
