Beautiful Japanese Song

Fri Feb 21, 2003 10:47 am

Found this song off an anime site and fell in love with it.

The title is "Fukai Mori" ("Deep Forest") and it really is a very beautiful song, despite its simplicity. Also, if played low, a very nice one to sleep to.

Indeed it does sound beautiful. Surely reminds me of the ending song for the outro of an anime. (come to think of it, this does sound familiar.....)

GAH I KNEW IT!!!! Fukai Mori is the 2nd outro song for the anime Inuyasha. I knew I heard that song from somewhere. (I guess since I never watched Inuyasha for a while.....). I still can't believe I missed that!

Also thanks to akwan50 and the guys in the Inuyasha forum of AnimeNation with the "Favorite Inuyasha outro" thread.  Big thumbs up http://animenation.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70089&highlight=favorite

Yes, N751PR.... I've become an Inuyasha freak since the anime started playing here. Pretty sad for a 21yr-o, I know Big grin

Shawn Patrick,
I'd love to, but none of my email processors would transmit a file of this size.

Try the link, and just refresh it every 10 or so minutes. It'll let you through eventually.... the song's worth it  Big grin

Shawn Patrick,

I just downloaded it from Kazaa, it took barely any time at all.

Ahh don't worry, your not that old. I've seen people in anime cons that are in their 30s to 40s. Big grin But theres a whole lot that are in thier teens and 20s.

BTW have you ever listened to My Will or Change the World ConcordeBoy?

Yes, and I love "My Will" (both Japanese and English) just as much! So does my roomate... who has about the cultural experience of a sea slug; but as a self-proclaimed raver, he really digs the techno on the Japanese version Big grin

For anyone interested, here's the links to "My Will" with the Japanese link (IMO, the better one) first, followed by the English link:

again, sometimes you have to refresh these sites quite a bit to get them to download, they're pretty popular

Ahh a english version of My Will, interesting. Big grin Thanks for the link ConcordeBoy! Yeah music from V-6, dream (the Japanese dream!), and Do As Infinity are really great J-pop artists in my opinion.  Big thumbs up Well I have more intro and outro songs in my harddrive from various anime (.hack//SIGN, Evangelion, Nadesico, etc.) and I'm willing to reccommend some more. Big grin

can anyone tell me where to find some Japanese Country Music?

I would LOVE to hear beer soaked, lost-love blues sung (or more accurately, wailed) in Japanese over my Asahi or Sapporo.

I've seen something close to it..

Craig Kilborne had a Japanese Country singer on his site that mixed English and Japanese in his songs.... and it sounded, well, good! And that's saying a lot, as I think country music is akin to cats wailing from labor pain  Laugh out loud
