15 Year Anniversary Of Halabja

Sun Mar 16, 2003 3:22 pm

15 years ago on March 17, 1988 Saddam Hussein unleashed his arsenal of chemical weapons on the civilian population of Halabja.

It is estimated that 5000 old men, women and children where killed in these attacks that proved that Saddam was willing to use these weapons against anybody.

If anybody has any questions why he must be removed from power, this is why. When Saddam is gone you can go ahead and thank the US, GB and Spain for ridding the world of a madman.

For GOD's sake, lets not turn this into a political slug fest.

What happened on this day fifteen years ago was an absolute atrocity which I think the world cannot ignore.

I'm so friggen' sick of hearing about Iraq...

Saddam must have a woody the size of a Sequoia knowing how much turmoil he's causing.

The fun thing is: The general responsible for executing the order to gas the civilians are currently here in Denmark, where he's seen as one of the people who could lead Iraq after Saddam.

At the moment, the State prosecutor in Denmark is currently discovering if he can be prosecuted.
