Champions League Draw

Fri Mar 21, 2003 9:44 pm

The Quarter-final draw is as follows:

1. Real Madrid v Manchester United
2. Inter Milan v Valencia
3. Ajax v AC Milan
4. Juventus v Barcelona

Semi-final draw

1. Winner of Q-F 1 v Winner of Q-F 4
2. Winner of Q-F 3 v Winner of Q-F 2

The quarter-finals will be played on 8-9 April and 22-23 April with the semi-finals on 6-7 May and 13-14 May.

So....I'm glad to say that it looks likely that we will be inundated (hopefully!) with two sets of travelling supporters on the 28th May.

Hey David, so little confidence in Man Utd?? They can take the revenge on the quarter finals of three years ago, when they were beaten by Real Madrid who later won the Champions against Valencia.
I also see there is a possibility to repeat the 2000 Final : Valencia-Real Madrid... that would be great !!!

Krushny, it's purely on account of the final being here! Any other year and I'd want Utd to win.

I am usually a Barca fan when it comes to Spanish Football, but this time I will be cheering for Real Madrid. Zidane and Raul will show imposters like Beckham,Giggs etc how to play real football.

Real Madrid vs Manchester Utd will be a fantastic tie. It is too close to call who will win - could be decided on the away goals rule.

My reasoning is that on current Champion's League form Man Utd would bury Madrid - Real have been disappointing so far but we all know that if Real's players all perform to the maximum they are probably the best team in Europe, and would cause Man Utd loads of problems. I think there will be lots of goals in the games - neither defence has impressed me this season. I can't wait - this is IMHO the part when the 'real' Champion's League starts, not the b-o-r-i-n-g group stages.

CPH-R, it's at Old Trafford. Tickets for the final are already on sale according to this story in the Manchester Evening News.

Three Spanish teams in the semis again. No contest. I love it.

You can apply for tickets at uefa.com cant miss the the link over there anyways the really good news we get to watch Real Madrid all the way to the final now on ITV the are going to rape man utd so bad I cant wait. Why they Holding it at Old Traford when the game can be played at the home of the Champions League final match Hampden Park Glasgow. Lets hope use down there get to see the Real super stars at the airport instead a chasing the bus at the airport like some ass clown. So hears hoping from an all Spanish final Valencia v Real Madrid or at least Real v A.C Milan would settle for that.
