That Corner In Baghdad On TV

Tue Mar 25, 2003 12:08 pm

I'm sure you know the one that I'm talking about. You see it on TV day and night...green light, yellow light, red light...

It it just me, or do people just really run red-lights like crazy at that corner? I've seen it happen probably a dozen times so far.

Sooner or later, millions are going to witness one friggen' spectacular car crash!  Big grin

Hopefully Teriq Aziz will crash head on into Saddams limo and both will be history, on live tv.

Aziz is dead and Saddam is on life-support.

I have yet to see heavy traffic at the intersection. Yes, these folks in Baghdad are constantly running red lights.

Ya know now that I read this and watched it your totally right. Its sorta like a 2 way stop where the person who has the greenlight loosely has the right of way. Man even their bus service doesnt stop.  Smile

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to use stop signs ?

What worries me more is the amount of time you've obviously spent watching it ...  Laugh out loud

I take it this intersection doesn't have the traffic light cameras installed? Imagine the revenues the Baghdad City Council could receive from the fines  Laugh out loud

I know what you're talking about but I haven't been focusing on the cars, just the explosions lol

Is there a website that shows it 24/7?
