Damn, I've Figured It Out

This war is just like the OJ Simpson trial. Remember that? OJ was on trial for killing his wife and a friend. Then, the trial turned into the "Mark Furhman trial", and his use of the "N" word. And OJ was found not guilty because Furhman was a racist. Doesn't matter that the overwhelming evidence pointed to his guilt.

Well - In the days following 9/11, the US embarked (and rightly so) on a "War on Terror". A year and a half later, the focus has shifted to Saddam Hussein, who has not been linked to the 9/11 attacks, but by golly, he's GASSED his own people and killed 300,000 Iraqi citizens. So, Saddam is partly responsible for 9/11 because he's a tyrant and he lied about destroying his weapons. Nevermind that our president's dad stopped his "Operation Desert Storm" when we were just a few miles from Saddam's palace... Now, we've got to take care of some unfinished business.

This towns not big enough for the both of us Bart - Sheriff Bush.

At behest of the UN, because our actions according to them were only "supposed to remove Iraqi forces from Kuwait, not topple Iraq"..... Insane

But 747-451 - I thought that Congress authorized the use of force in the days following 9/11 to bring those responsible for the attacks to justice. Somehow - that authority got "OJ'ed" to attacking Iraq because the "might" provide terrorists with chemical weapons, and when it's pointed out that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, then the focus gets shifted to the "humanitarian" issue.
