What Wine Goes Good With Human Flesh?

Wed Apr 02, 2003 10:35 am

Do any of you wine Connoisseurs know what wine tastes best with specific kinds of meat? Obviously the title may worry many of you, but I'm having an old friend for dinner and wanted the wine to compliment the dish I'm serving.

What are the general rules as far as:

* Chicken

* Beef

* Veal

* Lamb

* Other

.....are concerned?

Cianti?

Red with Beef / Lamb.

White with Seafood / Chicken.

Some say we taste like pork, so either a red or white.

Did you ever read about that famous cannibal in Japan?

He wrote a book or something about eating his girlfriend.

Maybe he wasn't REALLY eating his girlfriend Mx5.  Wink/being sarcastic
Ask Dr. Lecter. I know he likes Fava beans. I think a red wine would nicely compliment some flesh.

AA6,

Yeah, it's a true story, I'm trying to find out why he wasn't locked up - I think he was put in an instituion for a while though.

Seriously weird.
