I really don't see a point to changing the clocks. I am just fine with the position of the sun at 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon right now. Why go and mess it all up so a few farmers could work a few extra hours??

As though farmers work by a clock. I't's light, the animals wake and ask for attention, farmer has been awake since an hour before sunrise and is ready to feed, slop and milk the beasts.

The purpose of daylight savings time was that said farmer would have time in the morning to do his chores by the time his bank opened. If you think about it, it was silly when started, and useless today.

Actually, it converses alot of energy throughout North America since less electric light is needed in the longer evening hours. I read a study that the North American economy would save even more energy if we went double daylight saving (2 hours).

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
