As an Aviation enthusist I took a liking to Cathay Pacific the first time I saw one of their 747s at SFO
on a vacation back in '89, I loved their colors on the 747.
I hope the best for them, it's hard enough for them to compete against the state supported airlines of the region even without this current crisis.
Hopefully Boeing and Airbus will be flexible with Cathay Pacific so that they can defere some aircraft payments for a month or two.
As for main land China's handling of the situation, it's classic Communist crap.
The world and China would have been better off if they were open from the start so that the World Health Oraganizations could have been brought in to tackle the situation, instead classic lies and denials of the Chinese Government has cost the World and the Region greatly.
Again my sincerest wishes for Cathay Pacific and her employees, GOOD LUCK!
