Big Brother 4 (UK) Back In A Few Weeks

Mon May 12, 2003 1:14 am

It's coming back! http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother

I never start watching it, but always end up glued to the screen. Sad isn't it. Doesn't seem that long ago since the last one, with lovely Kate... and... err... Jade.

It starts I think on the same night as Eurovision is on.. this is loads better than Terry Wogan all night, so I'll probably watch it. Anyone else going to watch?

Is that also this "The battle" style big brother as it runs in Germany since a few weeks, with daily "battles" with 2 teams, 1 living in luxury, the other one in poverty (no warm water etc.) ?

We had the rich/poor divide last year, but this year they say they're going back to basics, so it's going to be just normal.

I really hated it when they divided it into two; rich and poor side. Hopefully this year will be better!

I hope it will be more intriguing this year than last year which really didn't attract me.

For shame.

Anyway, this better be better than I'm a Celebrity etc... because I find that dull.

Transparent duvets! That would be good.. there's a pic from one of the bedrooms on the website, and those aren't transparent.... but there's always the other bedroom which nobody has seen yet!

Single good looking people in their 20's would be great Big thumbs up

I read in 'The Sun' that no person over the age of 40 is allowed on the show as they don't fit in with 20 year olds and they might do a runner like Sandy did last time.

I would like to point out that Sandy is not a typical Scotsman....not all of us are that grumpy, but that escape was brilliant  Big thumbs up

What a sad show - it started again here in Australia last week and I've seen (accidently) about a total of 10 minutes of it.
There are actually 2 houses on the set this time and the idiots (er, guests/victims) don't know that yet - they think it's just one small group - the dividing wall is going to be removed soon apparently.
They have pop psychologists giving instant character assessments - what a load of shyte!
Then today it made the news that one of the suckers let it slip that their juvenile sister is in prison having been convicted of a gay hate murder!
Caused all sorts of embarrassment!

Might check it out again in couple of weeks time when I can't get to sleep or something.

LHR340: I have E4, and the sound going off is very annoying. They seem to go to the adverts every 5 minutes, just interupting in the middle of a conversation!! I usually just watch it on Channel 4.

Josh .... have you been watching the auditions on E4 today? If not, they were showing alot of the audition tapes .. some of them are absolutely hilarious, 1 guy had me crying earlier ... he was the ugliest, geekiest guy i've ever seen and he was prancing around his local town centre, hilarious stuff  Big thumbs up

Missed them... didn't realise they were on today! They usually show them on the first Big Brother show of the series, so there's still a chance Big thumbs up

About the over 40 thing from way up there ^...
