NWA742, I have to kind of agree with him. There's probably not a more gung-ho, shoot-now-ask-questions-later state than Texas, and such bravado-idiocy if you ask me, is typical of that peculiar state.
The reason I strongly hold against his statements is that I was born and raised in Texas. It really drives me crazy on all the bullshit stereotypes and generalizations we Texans get.......especially after Bush was elected. Mainly the ones on hicks and rednecks. Idiots who say things pertaining to that have no clue as to what they're talking about.
Now Alpha 1, I know you're a very intelligent person, intelligent enough to realize that generalizing a whole entire state (especially a huge one like Texas) is misguided, wrong, and unnecessary. This especially applies to foreignors like 236ER who openly generalize on the places they've probably never even been to.
Having lived most of my life in Texas, I probably know so much more about my state than 236ER does it's not even comparable, and I don't even generalize it, you know why? Because I can't generalize it, because no matter how you put it, it would be wrong in some way or another. Trust me on this one.
