ICQ's Attempt To Support The German Language

Thu May 29, 2003 5:24 am

Some years ago I had ICQ installed and now I wanted to check if the mother of all instant messengers is still around.
Actually, ICQ still exists and there is even a German version available - well ... sort of ...
Those who can read German should visit http://web.icq.com/ and read the announcement. If you are not familiar with the (granted: weird) German language, imagine a German company introducing a localized version of their software product in "Engrish":

Available is it now!
Obtaining ICQ in English now
ICQ speaks now too English

Obtain it here for independent and chat
with your friends in your language."
