4) What are you doing next year?
I haven't decided yet, but I think I'll take the year off to think about my future and figure out whether university really is necessary.
Now to answer Fritzi's question how much does a liver transplant cost???
That's a topic I'm quite informed about because my mum had one (actually two, the first attempt was unsuccesful) in February/March. According to the doctors, the expenses associated with a liver transplant in the Czech Republic where she had it are around 500 000 CZK, i.e. 18 000 USD. Those weren't paid by our family, but we did have to fork out 550 000 CZK for Cessna Citation V D-CMCM to take her from MLA
to BRQ (air ambulance configuration) because liver transplants are not carried out in Malta.
And, I'd advise you not to ruin your liver through drinking because liver transplants are generally not undertaken on alcoholics. Doctors' reasoning: the guy had one liver. Ruined it through alcohol. Why bother giving him another one, it's gonna end that way again!
