Rugby: Australia 14, England 25

Great performance, we won by three outstanding tries to one (again outstanding), great match, England have shut up their critics. Nuff said.

World cup, place your bets. What odds do I get now that you are the "best".

Nothing like a Southern Hemisphere boy taking defeat well eh?  Big grin I would stick my money on England and NZ in the final - it's 50/50 after that. But England are a damn good team - surely the Kiwis and Aussies have to recognise that now. Can't score tries? How's 3-1 England. Forward dominated? The backs got all 3 tries. As I said before, nuff said.

Assuming they both win there groups then I THINK the only place they could meet is in the final. It's complicated so I could be wrong.

Surely you are going to give me odds on such a great team.

They WILL both meet in the final, but as for odds it's still 50/50. The test against the Aussies showed that England are better than Australia but about equal with New Zealand. If anything I make the all Blacks slight favourites. All I'm saying is that you have to acknowledge that England are a good team now.

What about the All Blacks demolition of Wales to the tune of 55-3! I look forward to the next time that England play the All Blacks again, probably in the World Cup final.
