Texas drivers are the worst. I'm from Oklahoma City, but I lived in Dallas while I was going to school at SMU. I would travel from OKC to Dallas on I-35 and on I-75 and the Texas cars would ALWAYS be driving about 100 miles per hour, changing lanes with no signal, not move over when you came up behind them, etc
1. It's all the Okies and Californians and damned Yankees that are causing the problems. Not us natives. Honest.
2. There is no "I-75" in Texas. I-75 is way east of us. The road you take into Dallas from OKC
is US 75. There's a difference.
3. If God had not intended that I drive fast, He would not have invented the Northstar V-8.
4. If God had not intended that I fly airplanes, He would not have invented traffic jams.
As a parting shot, I agree that traffic here can be a problem, but I cannot fathom how anyone could ever conclude Dallas drivers are measurably worse than those in any major metro area (and no, OKC
is not a major metro area, for which its residents should be grateful). Try driving in LA
/Orange County, California, or maybe Long Island, NY on Friday evening. That's some adventure.
