How are you supposed to go over a speedbump in that?

It would rip the skirts off.

That's a car to drive on a race-track, it's the GTS-R...
Have you seen the SRT-10 Competition coupe, it's not even street-legal.

Those are dream cars anyway. I was quite satisfied with a Corvette for starters  Big grin

But how much is that Acura?

What's the matter with these pictures? I can only see 2/3 of them, right side is cut off! You can't see the best part of the cars!

I WAS RIGHT! The new ads on the right really do SUCK. As for the TSX, it's VERY nice, I wish I had one!

Again, how much is an TSX? Can't you get for example a BMW for the same money? Well, you'd have to hurry, cause the new ones are ugly.

I have seen the TSX as a Honda Accord in Pakistan, it was just like the car pictured above in Black but with clear side lights infront and polished alloy wheels, breathtaking.

The TSX starts out at about $26,900 or something like that with a 6-speed manual and goes up to about $29k I think loaded. The thing is, the only options on the TSX are transmission and navigation so it's pretty well loaded. A similarly equipped 3-series would be in the upper $30ks or even more.

That's not bad... And I admit it looks good. I like the alloys and the lights. And the whole design's got kind of a line in it. The chrome lines on the door are Audi-style, but I like Audis...

But I'm not in the position to buy a car anyway, even if I could, money-wise.

Dark dashboard's nice, I don't really like the other one, the wood doesn't look real.

It's sure as hell more beautiful than the new 7 series...

But my Acura of choice still would be the NSX Alex Zanardi Edition:

$87K...

Yes certainly its not a bad car for my money...it offers alot for less then $30,000...i like the interior of the car.In USA its being branded as the Acura TSX whereas its the same as the Accord in many countries including Pakistan. The Accord here in the USA is a little bigger and bulkier

The TSX got very mediocre reviews in the States. Not too many car journalists were impressed with the handling, power, or quality. This is largely Acura's fault for claiming that their target market was BMW 3 series buyers. The car is most definetely NOT a BMW.

A shame, because Honda generally makes well reviewed products.

For those that hate the new 7 series...take a good look at a black 760li. Couldn't take my eyes off of it while I was stalking it for about five miles on I-10 yesterday....

Reviews and performance never interest me, I still would take the TSX over the BMW.

It's not bad, although the rear just seems a little too long, depends on the angle.
And the price is quite high (87K) for the not-so-fabulous performance (290 bhp).
I've never seen one in real, cars mostly look even better in real than they do in pictures.

Exactly, you could get a Mecedes SL55 AMG for just a bit more money and that has incredible performance! Nice looking, but I wouldn't buy one if I had 87K.

Corvette, SL55, M3, all in that range. And you get an Impreza or Lancer Evo with 276 bhp and MUCH better handling and WAY higher fun factor for half of it...
But the fact that it looks great and you practically never see one makes it an exotic.

HOLD ON please: I think some of you here (fightingfalcon and GloBalExpRess) are confusing this car, the Acura TSX with the Acura NSX. This is not a 87K car ....this is just a 25-30K car and no it does not even have 290hp...that is again the NSX.
Speaking of the NSX,i think its absurd to buy a japanese car for nearly $90,000 and its not even that powerful....no wonder i have seen soo few of the new ones. Who in their right mind would buy a Acura NSX when they can get a Mercedes SL 500 for the same price.....the new SL500 now thats a sexy car.

Road and Track, Car and Driver, as well as Motor Trend did not sing the praises of the TSX. In addtion to being underpowered, they were concerned with poor handling and the build quality on the test car. Automobile also said the interior was made of cheap quality plastic and fabrics--basically unworthy of the Honda/Acura mark (this is strange cause the pic posted looks very nice). They did, however, like the transmission. I'd say having three or four of the leading car reviewers be consistent in their reviews is fair criticism. This car is basically a dog for the market they are after.

A TSX over a 3 series Beemer? Not hardly...you'd have to be on drugs....or an idiot!

No not on drugs and not an Idiot either, I dont like BMW's does everyone have to like them? I like the Acura with all its faults and thats that, to each his own. Basically I'd choose it to have an attractive car that I would like to drive and feel good about when it takes me from A to B every day, not to impress anyone, or race down the highway. Do you have to put down others? you may like the BMW I dont, I did like the older models but even then I would have taken the other Acura's, or even the Infiniti's over it and saved money, with which I could do other things. No harm in that is there?

I understand and respect your choice Airmale but trust me at the end of the day you would probably feel better going from A to B in a BMW 330i then you would in a TSX. The TSX is alright, seen many of them on the roads, and while the 3 series is nothing extraoridinary to look at either...very few cars in this particular mide sized class can match the solidity, built quality, handling, comfort, little bit of panache and the shear pleasure of driving of the 330i. Even though im not the biggest fan of the 3 series, that car has consistently been regarded as the BEST in its class and thats taking into consideration all factors...although im not sure if the TSX has been introduced in competition with the 3 series but if i had to choose one of the 2 it would most certainly be a 330i

I'm not comfusing it, if you'd read everything you'd seen my post saying "if an Acura then a NSX, not a TSX", that's how we started talking about the former.

3 Series Beemers are consistently on the top 10 list of almost every car review written (as are Honda Accords). However, the TSX isn't even on the radar!

It's ill conceived...and apparently not up to the usual Honda/Acura standard.

Corvette, SL55, M3, all in that range.

What? $41,005 (base corvette) - $86,710 (base SL500) IN THE SAME RANGE?
ha.

I don't think so Fightingfalcon.

And you get an Impreza or Lancer Evo with 276 bhp and MUCH better handling

A Mitsubishi in the same handling category as a BMW M3 or a Merceds SL? ROFL.

If you say that too loud around some people, you could get your ass kicked.

You got me wrong both times...

Corvette, SL55, M3 in the same range. Yea, in the same range as the NSX! We were talking about the NSX then, not the TSX. I'm not gonna compare a TSX to a Corvette...

And the handling of the Evo and the Scooby is much better than that of the Acura's, doesn't matter which one, not than that of the M3 and the SL. (Though, did you read what for example Evo (UK car magazine) wrote about the Evo VIII? They loved the handling...)

Edmunds and Consumer Reports liked it, however. Now all it needs is either the 3.0 240HP V6 or the 3.2 260 HP V6 and that limited slip that made the Prelude such fun to drive (for a FWD car).

It's good to remember that Consumer Report also liked the Pontiac Fiero and Ford Pinto when they were introduced as well...

But I'll agree with your engine choices....
